Getting a Tax Refund this year? Consider these investing options to help your money grow over time.
Open a brokerage account and Invest in Dividend paying stock via the stock exchange
Consider doing some online research or connecting with an expert to find out more about investing your money into a dividend paying stock.
Some companies will pay you an interest called dividends just for investing in their company through the stock market.
Investing apps such as Robbinhood, Stash, Acorn, Sofi, and Cash App are apps that can help you get started on your investing journey. Think of places you normally shop at and see if they are listed on the stock exchange and then began to get your feet wet.
Purchasing a cash savings bond:
Savings bonds are affordable, but they take longer to mature meaning it could take 30 years for you savings bond to double; but they are a great way to stash away and save money while still earning interest. Do some research and consider investing in a few saving bonds for you and your family this tax season. This can serve as extra stash cash.
Opening a mutual fund:
Mutual funds are a great way to invest a little money and accumulate a lot of interest over time. Mutual funds allow you to invest in multiple types of stock at once, helping to create a diversified investment portfolio (meaning all your money is not going into one basket). All banks will not have a mutual available to you, but you can check out other financial institutions to get you started on your mutual fund journey.
